We did this trip two winters ago, and I couldn’t believe this incredible place was in my own state and I had no idea how amazing it was. I was blissed out the entire time by the serenity, the cypress trees, and the teeming wildlife. If you go, visit when the weather is cool because I’ve heard some not-so-glowing reviews from friends who went in the summertime.
