HASTINGS — Amelia Ranfranz had an outstanding night in goal, stopping all 35 shots she faced, to backstop Mayo to a 4-0 non-conference girls hockey win at Hastings on Tuesday. Ranfranz recorded her second varsity shutout by stopping 16 shots in the first period, eight in the second and 11 in the third.

The home World Cup was turning out to be a damp squib. Until the Indians realised that they had one final roar left in them to produce an epic turnaround.
