The details surrounding Brian Cole Jr.'s confession of allegedly planting pipe bombs in Washington, D.C. on the eve of the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot were released on Sunday as part of pre-trial court filings.

The FBI says it is now seeking information about those involved in Wednesday's riots at the U.S. Capitol. Metropolitan Police Department Chief Robert Contee says four people died during the riots. One woman was shot and killed inside the Capitol.

Brian Cole Jr. was arrested for placing pipe bombs near DNC and RNC headquarters, motivated by outrage at both parties.
