With the final week of the regular season upon us, three teams from the NFC West are in the top five in the odds to win the Super Bowl. The Los Angeles Rams, the favorites for the last several weeks, are now tied with the Seattle Seahawks (+550), while the surging San Francisco 49ers are +850.

It feels like an eternity ago that Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba were lighting opposing defenses on fire with long touchdowns and big gains weekly. That's because it's been nearly two months since we've seen what was once the most dangerous passing offense in the league.

Sam Darnold and the Seahawks have won six in a row to take a one game lead into the final game of the regular season. Seattle is outscoring its opponents 29-18. Their stifling defense has allowed just 31 touchdowns through 16 games including just one last weekend in Charlotte to the Carolina Panthers in a 27-10 win.

With the No. 1 seed on the line against the Seahawks, 49ers offensive lineman Trent Williams might not play, but another could step up.

The Seattle Seahawks could have some stars returning from injury in Week 18 vs. the San Francisco 49ers, but one injury should bring caution to the team.

Niners star Christian McCaffrey missed Tuesday's practice with a stiff back, while left tackle Trent Williams nursed a right hamstring injury ahead of Saturday's showdown with the Seahawks.

But, Underdog NFL shared an update from 49ers' John Lynch, which is some very good news on Kittle's status update for Week 18 against the Seahawks in the game of the year. "49ers would be 'very surprised,' if George Kittle (ankle) doesn't play in Week 18," according to an update from Lynch.

Given all of the injury issues the San Francisco 49ers have dealt with this season, the last thing the team wanted to see was star running back Chrisitan McCaffrey laboring through the end of the team’s 42-38 Week 17 win over the Chicago Bears.
